There is a call to hold onto truth – to hold onto God and to not compromise. It’s easy to get swept up by today’s culture and the desire to feel relevant versus the call that Christians have to live differently and distinctly. This week, Ryan sits down with Jeremy King, the young adult pastor at CLA in Langley, BC, and one of Ryan’s good friends. The two of them look back on their friendship and share how it began as well as the parallels in their lives as young adult pastors. In their conversation, they address the struggle and the need that young adults, and people in general, have in searching for answers in today’s society. They also discuss how they engage culture as teachers, the need to acknowledge and allow tensions, and the reoccurring interactions of those who are searching, longing, and finding truth in Jesus.
